UniSwipe — Privacy Policy

Summary

UniSwipe stores everything you enter — academic profile, saved programs, compare slots, AI chats, application tracking — only on this device. We do not collect, transmit, or store personal data on any server.

What we store on your device

Your name, grade, province, average, intended fields, dream schools, saved/matched programs, application tracking records (status, deadlines, checklists, notes), Lumen chat history, notification preferences, and onboarding completion flag.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your email, contact list, location, biometrics, advertising identifiers, or any analytics that identify you. UniSwipe makes no network calls that send your data anywhere.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, deadline reminders are scheduled locally on your device using the dates you enter in the application tracker. We never receive these schedules.

Hero images

Campus images bundled with UniSwipe are stored locally in the app. If a bundled image fails to load, the app falls back to a remote image hosted by Unsplash. Unsplash receives a standard HTTP request when this happens; no personal data is included.

Your controls

Profile → Privacy & data lets you clear matches, clear the compare slots, clear chat history, reset the profile to defaults, or delete every piece of data UniSwipe stores about you. Uninstalling the app also removes everything.

Children

UniSwipe is intended for prospective post-secondary students (typically 14+). Users under 13 should not use this app.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will appear here and in a future app update. The "Last updated" date above tracks the latest revision.
